We are all Blue is a history maker on a number of fronts. For the first time in Botswana’s history, Donald has migrated a play from stage to print. The book is a collection of two plays – Motswana: Africa, Dream Again; and Blue, Black and White.
Motswana: Africa, Dream again is a story of Botswana and its people as they transition from a British Colony to an independent State. The play has been performed all around the World and is a winner of several awards including an award at the United Solo festival, the world’s largest solo theater festival.
Blue, Black and White (BBW) is a play about the country’s first democratically-elected president, Sir Seretse Khama; a chronicle of his interracial marriage. BBW is the longest running one-man show in Botswana’s history and the first-ever Botswana play staged off-Broadway in New York City.
